Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g potato dumplings
  • 200 g sweet Gorgonzola
  • 1 large onion(s), red
  • 1 jar apple compote, ideal with a slight acidity
  • pepper
  • oregano
  • Herbs, Italian
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

vegetarian

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan, finely chop the onion, and fry for about three minutes. Add the potato dumplings, spices, and herbs, and stir. Wait until the potato dumplings are the desired degree of browning, then sprinkle the Gorgonzola over them and stir well for about a minute to prevent it from burning. Depending on the pan, you may need to add another tablespoon of oil. When the Gorgonzola is not completely melted, the dish is ready to serve. Serve with the apple compote. Note: I prefer a slightly acidic apple compote to a very sweet one. If you like it spicy, you can also use a little chili oil.
