Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g ground grain (e.g. green spelt, spelt, rye, wheat grains)
  • 250 ml broth
  • 1 small onion(s), diced
  • n. B. garlic clove(s)
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 2 tbsp curd
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs or grated cheese
  • e.g. chopped parsley
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

very simple and easy, SIS-KH meal, with rye meal, suitable for MB

Bring the broth and ground grain to a boil, swell for 15-20 minutes, and then let it cool slightly. Stir in the onion, egg, quark, breadcrumbs or cheese, and season generously. Form 4-6 balls, place them in hot oil, flatten with a spatula, and fry gently. We like them best with herb or mustard quark, and the kids love them as a burger with ketchup and pickle on a bun. Personally, I like them even better cold than warm.
