Grandma's potato and sausage goulash

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 2 large onions
  • 7 large potatoes
  • 1 cup sour cream or crème fraîche
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 ring/s of meat sausage
  • lots of pizza seasoning
  • lots of paprika powder
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs
  • 1 ½ liters of broth
  • ½ tube(s) tomato paste

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Peel the onions and dice them into small cubes. Peel the potatoes and dice them into small cubes. Peel the sausage and dice them into small cubes. Fry the onions in a pan until translucent and lightly browned. Add the tomato paste and fry. Pour in some of the stock. Then add the potatoes. Simmer for about 1 hour until creamy. Season to taste. In a measuring jug, mix the sour cream or crème fraîche and the flour with the rest of the stock and add to the goulash while it is no longer boiling. Finally, fry the sausages in a separate pan until nicely browned and add to the goulash.
