Grandma's potato stew

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 500 g carrot(s)
  • 400 g goulash, mixed
  • 3 large onions
  • Oil for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • possibly parsley
  • 1 liter of water

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Pressure cooker version

Dice the vegetables and potatoes. Brown the meat in oil in the pressure cooker until well browned. Add the finely chopped onion and fry until they begin to brown. Season with salt and add about 1 liter of water. Add the diced potatoes and carrots without stirring. Close the pressure cooker and cook for 30 minutes. Once cooled, open the pressure cooker and season the stew with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley, if desired.
