If you like pudding, you will love this ice cream

The flavor of the pudding is up to you. So far, I’ve tried chocolate or vanilla. First, cook the pudding according to the package instructions. The amount of sugar you need varies depending on the variety. The finished pudding should then be cooled in a water bath, and then thoroughly in the freezer. Once the pudding has cooled sufficiently, whip the cream until stiff peaks form and fold it well into the pudding. If you have an ice cream maker, pour the cold cream pudding into it and let the machine do the rest. With my Philips ice cream maker, this takes between 30 and 45 minutes. If you don’t have an ice cream maker, pour the pudding into a tall, lidded container and place it in the freezer. To ensure the ice cream is as fluffy as possible and not too hard, stir it frequently while freezing.
