Grandma's semolina porridge

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of milk
  • some butter
  • some salt
  • some lemon zest
  • 125 g semolina
  • possibly sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bring milk, butter, salt, and lemon zest to a boil in a saucepan. Add the semolina and let it swell over low heat for 10-15 minutes. Season with sugar, if desired. Tip: Serve with fruit compote or fruit juice.
