Gratin of turnip, savoy cabbage and smoked salmon

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g swede(s)
  • 300 g savoy cabbage
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 2 tbsp horseradish
  • 100 g cheese, grated
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 50 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes

Peel the turnip and cut into very thin slices. Remove the stalk from the savoy cabbage, remove the leaves, and slice the midribs flat. Season the sour cream with horseradish, salt, and pepper. Spread two tablespoons of the sour cream sauce on the bottom of a baking dish. Place 1/3 of the turnip slices on top, season with salt and pepper. Add 1/3 of the salmon, then 1/3 of the savoy cabbage leaves. Spread with the sauce. Layer two more layers in the dish. Finally, sprinkle with grated cheese and bake at 180°C for 50 minutes. 15 g of carbohydrates per serving.
