Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • Cardamom, 3 green capsules
  • 2 carnations
  • 6 peppercorns, whole
  • 6 tsp sugar, more if needed
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 3 tsp green tea (e.g. Gunpowder)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Boil water with spices and let it steep for at least 10 minutes. Add milk and sugar and bring back to a boil. Then remove from heat. Add tea and let it steep for 4-5 minutes. Do not allow the water to boil again, or the tea will become bitter. Strain into a warmed teapot and serve.
