Green roasted asparagus

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 bunch of asparagus, green
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • some olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with garlic and olive oil, low-fat

Don’t peel the green asparagus. Simply trim off the dry, woody ends and chop the asparagus into large pieces. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat a little olive oil in a pan and fry the asparagus for about 4 minutes. Then add the garlic and fry over lower heat for another 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. The asparagus will still be fairly firm to the bite. If you prefer it softer, you can let it sizzle for a while longer. But keep in mind that the valuable vitamins are lost with longer cooking. Delicious with fish or steaks.
