Green salad with apple and horseradish vinaigrette

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 head of oak leaf lettuce, light
  • 3 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tbsp water
  • 2 tsp horseradish
  • some salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • 1 apple, red
  • ¼ box garden cress

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Trim, wash, and spin dry the oak leaf lettuce. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces. Combine the apple cider vinegar, water, horseradish, a little salt, pepper, honey, and oil. Peel and finely dice the shallot. Quarter the apple, core it, and cut it into thin wedges. Mix the diced shallot and apple slices into the vinaigrette. Serve the salad with the dressing and garden cress.
