Green Smoothie Recipe – Three Delicious Alternatives

There are numerous green smoothie recipes, but many mainly involve exotic ingredients. But there is also an easier and above all more seasonal way. We present three recipes that do not require a long shopping list.

Green smoothie recipe made from berries and lettuce

In summer, a green smoothie made from berries is a good idea.

  • For this green smoothie, you need half a lettuce and 250 grams of berries of your choice. It can be strawberries, blackberries, currants, or raspberries – or a mix of all.
  • Add 150 to 250 milliliters of water, depending on how liquid you want your green smoothie.
  • All ingredients are simply washed in the blender and mixed into a creamy smoothie.

Spinach and bananas for health

With this smoothie, too, you can get by without many exotic ingredients.

  • All you need is two bananas and 125 grams of baby spinach. What you should consider when eating raw spinach is explained in another article. 100 milliliters of water serve as the liquid.
  • All you have to do now is wash the baby spinach and peel the bananas. Put all the ingredients in the blender and you have a healthy snack in between.

Green Smoothie – healthy nutrition even in autumn and winter

There are also healthy ingredients for a green smoothie in autumn and winter

  • For the autumn green smoothie, use two apples or pears, whichever fruit you prefer. For the green ingredient, you have the choice between 125 grams of lamb’s lettuce or the same amount of kale. Here, too, 100 milliliters of water bring the necessary liquid into the green smoothie.
  • Wash and core the apples or pears and cut the fruit into large pieces. Since you eat the skin, we show you how to remove pesticides from apples in another post. The lamb’s lettuce is cleaned and the kale is washed and roughly chopped
  • Now all the ingredients go back into the blender and are mixed into a creamy green smoothie.
