Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 g green spelt, coarsely ground
  • 375 ml water
  • 1 tsp vegetable broth, granulated
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ small onion(s)
  • ½ bunch parsley
  • 75 g soup vegetables
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 50 g breadcrumbs
  • 1 tbsp oat flakes
  • ½ tsp mustard
  • Oil, for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 day 6 hours; Total time approx. 1 day 6 hours 20 minutes

Bring the water and broth to a boil and simmer the green spelt for 10 minutes, then let it swell for 20 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Finely chop the onion, parsley, and soup vegetables. Fry in 1 tablespoon of oil for 5 minutes, then add to the green spelt. Add the eggs, breadcrumbs, oatmeal, and mustard; mix thoroughly, season to taste, and adjust seasoning if necessary. Form patties and fry in hot oil over medium heat for 10-15 minutes.
