Green Witch Fingers

  • 200 g Ice cold butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 300 g Flour
  • 2 Egg yolk
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Green food coloring
  • Skinned almonds
  1. Work the cold butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, egg yolk, salt and the green food coloring into a kneading dough. Shape the dough into a ball and wrap in cling film, then place in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
  2. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  3. Divide the dough into several pieces. Then shape the pieces into finger-thick rolls. Now make small grooves at the points of the finger joints with the back of the knife. Press half of the almond onto each fingertip as a fingernail or glue it with a little egg white.
