Grill Maultaschen

The perfect grill maultaschen recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Mixed minced meat
  • 400 g Maultasche dough
  • 300 g Sausage meat
  • 1 Red pepper
  • 1 medium-sized Onion
  • 0,5 piece Clove of garlic
  • 4 tbsp Finely chopped parsley
  • 4 tsp Smoked salt
  • 2 tsp Pepper
  • 1 tsp Mustard
  • 1 tsp Sweet paprika powder
  • 3 piece Eggs
  • 1 piece Egg yolk
  • Rapeseed oil
  1. Roast the chopped onion and diced paprika in rapeseed oil. Mix the minced meat with the sausage meat, 3 eggs, the finely chopped garlic, smoked hickory salt, pepper, mustard, paprika powder and pertersil. Also add the onion and diced paprika and mix.
  2. Cut the dough into 20cm wide pieces (I bought dough from Settele). Now smooth the filling evenly on the dough and leave an edge at the end that is brushed with egg yolk.
  3. Now roll up and cook in boiling salted water for about 15 minutes, depending on the thickness (use a large saucepan or roaster). Then cool well on a grid before cutting off pieces of the same size. Now vacuum seal and you’re done.
