Grilled asparagus

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg asparagus, already peeled, raw
  • tarragon
  • Oil (sesame oil)
  • Sea salt, coarse
  • pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Basic recipe

Place the asparagus (e.g., as a side dish for grilling, use about 250g per person) in a double layer of aluminum foil. Add a few drops of sesame oil to each asparagus spear. Now sprinkle tarragon (or other herbs such as sage), coarse sea salt, and pepper on the asparagus. Fold the aluminum foil up and seal. Then place on the hot grill and cook for about 25 minutes. The asparagus is best when you can bend the asparagus parcels. Tip: Many different variations are possible – e.g., drip a little raspberry vinegar or balsamic vinegar onto the asparagus. Or grill with chili and sun-dried tomatoes, then season with sage and lemon.
