Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 1 bunch of green asparagus
- 100 g Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, black, freshly ground
- 50 ml olive oil
- possibly herb butter
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 32 minutes
delicious side dish for grilling
Wash the asparagus, trim off the bottom ends, and peel only the lower third if desired. Brush the stalks with olive oil and season with sea salt and pepper. Roast the asparagus in an aluminum tray on the charcoal grill for about 12 minutes, turning occasionally. Serve sprinkled with shaved Parmesan cheese and garnished with herb butter, if desired.
