Guacamole
The perfect guacamole recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Ripe avocado
- 1 Onion red
- 1 small Dried chilli pepper
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 5 Cocktail tomatoes
- 0,5 Lemon fresh
- Salt and pepper
- 2 tbsp Yogurt
- 1 pinch Ground chilli pepper Birds Eye
- Cut the onion, garlic and dried chilli into very fine cubes and place in a bowl. Put the yogurt on top.
- Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice into a small glass.
- Halve the avocado, remove the stone and remove the pulp with a spoon and place in the bowl.
- Pour about half of the lemon juice over the avocado.
- Mash the avocado with a fork and mix well with the remaining ingredients. A pestle of a mortar can also be very helpful, as it will make the guacomole nice and smooth.
- Season to taste with salt, pepper and possibly a little lemon juice. If the guacomole is not spicy enough, you can add a pinch of ground Birdseye chilli.
- The guacomole tastes good on its own, as a spread, as a dip or as a sauce for falafel.
