Gyro noodles

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • 450 ml vegetable stock
  • 200 g Kritharaki (rice-shaped noodles)
  • 400 g pork schnitzel
  • 250 g cocktail tomatoes
  • Gyro spice
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large onion(s)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 27 minutes

WW suitable

Combine the tomato paste and broth, bring to a boil, and cook the pasta in the tomato water for about 12 minutes until al dente. Cut the meat into strips, season with salt and pepper, and fry in a nonstick pan for 5 minutes. Season with plenty of gyro seasoning. Halve the tomatoes, drain the pasta, and stir both into the gyro. Slice the onions into rings and sprinkle over the gyro. Combine with a large mixed salad and this makes a light lunch!
