Hack Lentil Curry

The perfect hack lentil curry recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 300 g Carrots
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 300 g Ground beef
  • 100 g Lentils red
  • 1 tsp Yellow curry powder
  • 400 g Tomatoes (can)
  • 1 pole Leeks
  • 400 ml Vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel the carrots, cut in half lengthways and cut into thin oblique strips.
  2. 1El oil in a pan, crumble in the minced meat and fry until brown, season with salt and pepper. Heat the remaining oil (1 tablespoon) in a saucepan, add the carrots, lentils and 1tsp curry powder to the saucepan and sauté briefly.
  3. Add tomatoes, minced meat and 400 ml vegetable stock, bring to the boil and cover and simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes.
  4. Clean the leek, wash thoroughly and cut into thin rings. After 10 minutes, add to the sauce and cook covered for another 5-10 minutes. Season with curry. Arrange on a plate and serve.
