Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 800g French fries
  • 500 g doner meat or gyros
  • 6 slices of Gouda
  • 3 large tomatoes
  • 1 small iceberg lettuce
  • 1 small cucumber(s)
  • n. B. garlic sauce
  • n. B. Sambal

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

French fries and doner kebab casserole

Bake the fries in the oven according to the package instructions. In the meantime, brown the meat and cut the vegetables into small, bite-sized pieces. When the fries are cooked, place them in a large, deep casserole dish and season well with salt. Add the meat as a second layer and then spread the cheese evenly over the meat. Bake in the oven at 250°C until the cheese has melted, about 20 minutes. When the casserole comes out of the oven, scatter the salad over the cheese. Serve immediately. Serve with garlic sauce and a spicy sauce, or sambal. Very simple yet incredibly delicious.
