Half Duck with Red Cabbage and Potatoes

The perfect half duck with red cabbage and potatoes recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Duck meat with skin frozen
  • 1 Glass Red cabbage
  • 8 Potatoes
  • Salt
  • Pepper White
  • Freshly grated nutmeg
  1. Preheat the oven (hot air 200 degrees, or top / bottom heat 225 degrees). Remove the protective film and place the frozen duck (with us, however, it was already thawed) in the aluminum dish with the skin side up, slide it into the preheated oven and use hot air for 25-30 minutes with top / bottom heat for 30-35 minutes ferment. Ours was in the oven for 25 minutes.
  1. In the meantime, peel and dice the potatoes and cook them in salted water. He also heated the red cabbage on the lowest level and seasoned it with fresh nutmeg and pepper. When the duck was ready, he cut the duck in half. It was very tasty to finally be cooked for yourself ;-).
