Wash the rosemary, shake dry, and roughly chop. Peel the red onions and cut into thin wedges. Peel the garlic and cut into small pieces. Place the cheese, herbs, garlic, olive oil, and onions in a bowl. Cover with a cloth and let stand for about 2 hours, or overnight if possible. Pat the roasted bell peppers dry. Trim, wash, and shake dry the arugula. Cut the rolls in half. Brush the cut surfaces with a little herb butter. Heat a non-stick pan. Remove the cheese from the marinade and fry in the hot pan for 2-3 minutes on each side. Shortly before the end of the cooking time, add the marinade, onions, and herbs to the pan and fry briefly. Remove the halloumi from the pan. First cover the bottom halves of the rolls with bell peppers, then add the cheese. Arrange the arugula and onion wedges on top and top with the bun lid. Serve with French fries.
