Halloween – Prepare Suitable Snacks For The Party Yourself

Mummy snack for Halloween

You probably know it too: sausages in a dressing gown. You can also prepare this classic for Halloween. All you need is wieners, pizza or puff pastry, and something to make the mummy’s eyes. For example, you can use almond sticks or make small blobs of mustard.

  1. First, preheat the oven. In most cases, 200 °C is sufficient, but please follow the instructions on the packaging for your dough.
  2. First, you should cut the dough into long strips so that you can then wrap them around the sausages.
  3. When wrapping, note that you leave a slit on the top of the sausage for the eyes.
  4. Then put the mummies in the oven.
  5. Once cool, you can then attach the eyes. And the scary mummies are ready.

Bloody Halloween Chocolate Snacks

Not only is this snack spooky, but it’s also vegan. You will need frozen raspberries and rice syrup in equal proportions. You should also have almost twice the amount of cocoa nibs or chocolate ready. You will also need muffin cases to shape the snacks.

  1. First, you should heat the frozen raspberries in a saucepan and then crush them. Be careful not to leave overly large chunks. You can even strain the mixture through a sieve if you like.
  2. Then add rice syrup and mix well. Then you should let the mixture rest and cool down a bit.
  3. Now melt the cocoa nibs or optionally the chocolate in a water bath.
  4. Pour enough of the melted chocolate into the muffin cups to cover the bottom and sides. You have to turn the mold a bit so that the chocolate gets everywhere.
  5. Once this chocolate layer has dried, take the raspberry paste and put a small dollop in the center of the muffin liner. You do this with all shapes.
  6. As the last step, pour the rest of the chocolate over it, creating a kind of filled chocolate raspberry muffin.
  7. These snacks now go in the fridge, where you should keep them until you eat them.

Brain butter for Halloween

This idea is not necessarily a snack, but it should not be missing from your Halloween buffet if you also want to offer bread. All you really need is your favorite herb butter recipe and a brain mold.

  1. First, you should prepare your herb butter. To do this, mix any amount of butter with finely chopped garlic, salt, pepper, and an 8-herb mixture.
  2. Make sure the butter is very runny so you get the perfect effect. If you wish, you can even prepare your butter in a water bath.
  3. Now take the brain mold and fill it with your herb butter.
  4. You should keep it in the fridge afterward. However, get it out half an hour before using it so the butter softens a bit for guests.
  5. In principle, the shape of the brain is also good for everything else that needs to be fixed. Pudding or jello, for example, look particularly good in the shape of a brain.
  6. Or you only wet the edge with chocolate so that you get small brain bowls. You can then present sweets in these, for example.

Banana ghosts as a Halloween snack

You will need bananas, white chocolate, wooden skewers, and chocolate chips to make these spooky banana ghosts. Instead of chocolate chips, you can also use edible eyes from the start.

  1. You should first cut the bananas into equal-sized pieces. The pieces should be at least 6 cm long.
  2. Then put the banana pieces on the wooden skewers. Make sure the piece is tight.
  3. Now the fun begins: first melt the white chocolate in a water bath and then pour it into a normal bowl. The bowl should be big enough for the banana pieces to fit in easily.
  4. Then roll the banana skewers in the chocolate. You can also dip them in and cover them completely with chocolate faster.
  5. While the chocolate is still liquid, you should attach the chocolate chips to the eyes.
  6. Now the banana ghosts should be in the fridge for at least 4 hours.
