Ham and cheese toast with arugula and chive dip

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 8 slices of toast
  • 4 slices of ham
  • 4 slices of cheese
  • 2 handfuls of arugula
  • 125 g sour cream
  • 1 garlic clove(s), squeezed
  • ½ bunch chives, cut into rolls
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

simple, quick and very tasty food

For the dip, combine the sour cream with a crushed garlic clove, chives, salt, and pepper. Fill the slices of toast with ham and cheese and toast in a sandwich toaster until browned to your liking. Then unfold the toast, fill with the desired amount of arugula, and fold it back together. Serve the toast with the chive dip. This recipe sounds very simple at first, but I came up with it by chance while using up leftover arugula and chive dip.
