Ham and zucchini strudel

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 m.-large zucchini
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 200 g ham, cooked
  • salt and pepper
  • Butter, melted
  • 1 pack of strudel sheets
  • sesame
  • Thyme

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour

Wash, trim, and dice the zucchini and bell peppers. Peel and finely dice the onion, add it to a wide pan with the olive oil, and cook until translucent. Peel and press the garlic. Add the zucchini and bell peppers and fry. Dice the ham and stir in. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and thyme and let cool slightly. Spread the filling evenly on the strudel dough sheets and roll up the strudel. Preheat oven to 200°C. Place the strudel in a greased, ovenproof dish and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle sesame seeds on top. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for about 45 minutes.
