Ham noodles with chanterelles

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 375 g pasta
  • 3 slice(s) cooked ham, cut into strips
  • ½ pack of chanterelles (frozen)
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 2 tbsp cream cheese
  • 125 ml vegetable stock
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • nutmeg
  • marjoram
  • salt and pepper
  • Rapeseed oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Peel and dice the onion and garlic, and sauté in oil until translucent. Add the ham and fry briefly, then add the chanterelles. Meanwhile, bring plenty of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente. Add the cream and vegetable stock to the chanterelles and stir in the cream cheese. Season with nutmeg, salt, and pepper. Mix the cornstarch with a little cold water until smooth and stir into the sauce. Simmer briefly and season with marjoram. Drain the pasta and toss with the sauce. Tip: Sprinkle the ham pasta with grated Parmesan cheese!
