Ham rolls

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 package of puff pastry, fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup of crème fraîche herbs
  • 1 package of cooked ham, thin slices
  • some salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • Spices)

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Puff pastry snack

Spread out the puff pastry, spread with crème fraîche, and spread the ham on top to cover everything. Season to taste. Start by rolling up the dough, starting with the longer side. Wrap the baking paper that comes with the fresh puff pastry around the outside of the roll and place it in the freezer for a while. This will make it easier to cut into thin strips later. After freezing, as mentioned above, cut into thin slices and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper, or two if necessary. Bake in the oven at 180-200°C for 15-30 minutes, depending on how browned it is (a matter of taste). Ideal as a snack when guests come! Tastes good hot or cold and is super quick to make.
