Hamburger Whiskers (zabaione and Ice Cream)

The perfect hamburger whiskers (zabaione and ice cream) recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Pc. Egg yolk
  • 100 ml Marsala
  • 400 ml Whole milk
  • 400 ml Cream
  • 300 g Sugar
  • 4 Pc. Chocolate Cookies
  • 1 Pc. Vanilla pod
  1. Mix 1 egg yolk, cream, 150 g sugar and the contents of a vanilla pod to form a batter. Break the cookies into small pieces and add them at the end. Freeze on ice, beat 5 egg yolks in a bowl in a hot water bath until frothy, add sugar, marsala and milk while stirring. Arrange a scoop of ice cream and the foam cream in separate vessels on a plate.
