Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 200 g carrot(s), small colorful
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- 20 g butter
- 2 tbsp hazelnuts, ground
- 5 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Trim the green parts of the carrots, leaving only 2 cm. Peel the carrots. Heat a pan with butter. Fry the carrots on all sides to develop a toasted flavor and become soft. Meanwhile, beat the egg and mix the breadcrumbs with the hazelnuts. Remove the carrots from the pan and let them cool. Place the egg and the nut-breadcrumb mixture into a breading slab. Coat the carrots first in the egg, then in the breadcrumbs and nut mixture, and fry in the same pan until golden brown. Arrange and serve.
