Tomato rice

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 100 ml whole grain rice
  • 200 ml water
  • 7 tomatoes, diced
  • 1 onion(s), diced
  • 1 tbsp safflower oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • Fried potato seasoning

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Cook the 100 ml of brown rice (yes, the ml is intentional; I filled a measuring jug accordingly) in water as usual, or simply use leftover rice. Sauté the onion in oil. When it starts to brown, add the cooked rice and cook for 5 minutes. Season and add the tomatoes, then cook. Season to taste and serve.
