Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 70 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • ½ tsp cinnamon
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 85 g butter, soft
  • 120 g brown sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 100 g oat flakes, fine
  • 75 g nuts, roughly chopped, roasted or unroasted

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Dutch pastries

Combine flour, baking powder, and cinnamon thoroughly. Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, and egg until creamy, then stir in the flour mixture, followed by the oat flakes and nuts. Place baking paper on a baking sheet and place the balls on it with a tablespoon. Caution: Don’t place the balls too close together, as they will spread slightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 12-15 minutes. Makes about 12-15 balls. I personally find they taste best when they’re just cooled.
