Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 1 packet of yeast (dry yeast)
- 60 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 200 ml milk, lukewarm
- 50 g butter, melted
- 1 egg(s)
- 375 g flour
- 150 g flour
- 75 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 100 g margarine, soft
- 150 g jam (cherry jam)
- Condensed milk, for spreading
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 30 minutes
Mix the yeast and flour well. Knead into a dough with all the other ingredients. Cover and let rise for about 20 minutes, until the dough has increased in size. Make the crumble from the above ingredients. Knead the risen dough again and roll it out. Cut out rectangular sheets using a pastry wheel and place them on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Brush with the condensed milk and put a dollop of jam in the center of each. Then spread the crumble generously on top and cover again and let rise a little. Place all the trays in the preheated oven (180 degrees fan-assisted) and bake for about 15 minutes, until golden brown.
