Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • 200 g butter
  • 1 cup sour cream, 10%
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Butter, for the mold
  • 750 g apples
  • 150 g sugar
  • 125 g cheese (Chester)
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • ¼ tsp nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

For 12 pieces

Knead the dough ingredients into a shortcrust pastry. Slice the apples and dice the cheese. Mix with the sugar, flour, cheese, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Roll out two-thirds of the dough in a buttered springform pan and form a raised edge. Spread the apple mixture on top. Roll out the remaining dough, cut it into thin strips, and arrange it on top of the filling as a lattice. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 50-60 minutes. Tip: You can also use young Gouda instead of Chester.
