Cut the bread into cubes, fry in clarified butter until crispy, and then place in a casserole dish. Finely chop the pointed cabbage and fry in the same pan. Peel and finely chop the carrots and add them to the pan. Dice the bacon and fry them as well. Later, fry the diced onions. Pour the contents of the pan into the casserole dish and mix everything together. Whisk the eggs with the milk, 1/3 of the cheese, and seasonings to taste, and pour over all the ingredients. Then spread the remaining cheese on top. Bake uncovered in a preheated oven at 175°C (convection oven) for about 35 minutes. We served it with a green bean salad.
