Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 jar bamboo shoot(s)
  • 1 jar mung bean sprouts
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 250 g mushrooms, fresh
  • 1 can of corn
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp paprika powder, sweet
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
  • ½ tsp cumin
  • ½ tsp ginger powder
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • some cornstarch
  • n. B. olive oil for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Peel the onion and garlic. Quarter and finely chop the onion, and chop the garlic. Sauté both in a large pan or wok with the olive oil until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry vigorously. Once the liquid has evaporated, add the cleaned and sliced ​​mushrooms to the pan. Clean and finely chop the bell pepper and add it with the corn. Add the bamboo shoots and mung bean sprouts and season with the spices. Reduce the liquid from the vegetables that has formed in the pan, then thicken with the cornstarch and mix everything well. Season again and serve with fresh baguette. Rice and a fresh leaf salad also go well with this dish. It can also be refined with a dash of cream.
