Hearty Pan-fried Tomatoes …
The perfect hearty pan-fried tomatoes … recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
- 20 Capers
- 1 Garlic clove chopped
- Chopped parsley until smooth
- 1 Sting Branded butter
- 1 pinch Sea-Salt
- Black pepper from the mill
- My family loves these tomatoes very much, they taste very good and are quick to prepare, which I always particularly like.
- At work: wash the tomatoes, pat dry, cut in half crosswise and place the cut surface briefly on a double layer of kitchen paper.
- Let the oil get very hot in a pan and put the tomatoes in with the cut surface. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes, then turn and add a little trick of butter. Sprinkle the fried tomatoes with garlic, parsley and capers and let sizzle for another 2 to 3 minutes.
- Remove the pan from the heat and use a spoon to drizzle the delicious liquid from the pan over the tomatoes. Serve seasoned with a little sea salt and freshly ground pepper.
- I served the tomatoes with pan-fried lamb that I marinated in a teriyaki marinade. Do I have to say that we tasted it delicious?
