Herbal Crostini

The perfect herbal crostini recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 8 Discs Ciabatta
  • 2 piece Garlic cloves
  • 1 branch Rosemary fresh
  • 3 Stalk Fresh parsley
  • 1 Stalk Olive herb
  • 2 Stalk Fresh thyme
  • 3 piece Sage leaves
  • 1 handful Arugula
  • 0,5 teaspoon Black pepper from the mill
  • 8 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil, fruity
  • 1 pinch Salt

Preface

  1. It will probably be the last fresh herbs from the garden that I have used here.

The crostini

  1. Select the herbs, chop them very finely and stir with pepper and the olive oil – it should be a really good and fruity oil – and let it steep for about 3 – 4 hours. Then add a little salt.
  2. Toast the ciabatta slices and rub on one side with the garlic cloves. Then spread the herb-oil mixture on the bread slices.
  3. Serve with a few herb stalks and tomato slices.
