Ingredients

For the marinade:

  • 1 Red onion
  • 4 Cocktail tomatoes
  • 2 Hard boiled eggs
  • 2 Thyme, chives and borage
  • 1 bunch Chives in rolls
  • 4 tbsp Oil
  • 4 tbsp Half a lemon
  • 0,5 tsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Instructions

  • Clean the lettuce, wash it and spin it dry again, then pick it into bite-sized pieces - straight into a salad bowl. Halve the red onion and cut into fine slices; Halve the tomatoes or quarter depending on the size and sixth the eggs; Cut the chives into fine rolls.
  • Place the onions, tomatoes, egg and half of the chives over the salad, decorate with the fresh herb flowers (by the way, they taste wonderfully spicy, definitely more intense than the herbs themselves).
  • Put the remaining chives in a screw-top jar, add all the ingredients for the marinade, close the jar and shake everything vigorously until a marinade is formed.
  • Serve the herb blossom salad and only drizzle the marinade over it at the table and mix the delicious salad. First of all, everyone should enjoy the beautiful sight !! And only then does it say: "Bon appetit" !!
