Homemade Honey

The perfect homemade honey recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Sugar
  • 1 liter Water
  • 1 Lemon
  1. Wash and quarter the lemon.
  1. Put the sugar and the water in a saucepan and add the lemon.
  1. Now let everything simmer until the syrup has a golden color. Remove lemon.
  1. Let cool or use it while still warm for chbakiya, semolina yoghurt cakes, baklava etc.
