very refreshing, tasty, easy to prepare

Pour boiling water over the fresh peppermint leaves to make a strong tea. Steep for at least 10 minutes. Then remove the leaves. Add sugar, if desired, while the tea is still hot, to help it dissolve better. Add the lemon juice and mix well. Let it cool, then refrigerate. When the lemonade is nice and cold, add the ice cubes. If you like, you can slice citrus fruits and add them to the lemonade; this will make it even more flavorful. Fresh peppermint leaves also go well with lemonade. Fill glasses about halfway with the lemonade and mix with mineral water. A delicious summer drink in hot weather.
