Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes
Cut the chicken breast fillets into bite-sized pieces, coat in flour, and let rest in the refrigerator for a few minutes. Prepare the rice according to the package instructions. For the sauce, mix the garlic (pressed or thinly sliced), chicken stock, honey, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, a pinch of pepper, and salt in a bowl. Remove the fillet pieces from the refrigerator and brown them briefly in a pan with a little oil. Then remove the chicken from the pan and drain on a plate lined with kitchen paper. Pour the mixed sauce into the pan and heat through. Return the fillets to the pan and bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 20 minutes, until the sauce has thickened, stirring occasionally. Garnish with spring onions and serve with the rice. A simple vegetable stir-fry also goes well with this dish.
