ideal for birthdays and parties.

For the dough, mix the honey and yeast until creamy. Add lukewarm water and mix everything until the yeast is completely dissolved. Then let it rest for 10 minutes. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil and knead everything into a smooth dough. Place the dough in a bowl greased with oil and let it rise for at least 2 hours, until it has visibly increased in volume. Preheat the oven to 220°C (top and bottom heat). Mix the mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup in a bowl to make a sauce. Roll out the dough into a rectangle approximately 30 x 50 cm and spread with the sauce, leaving a border of approximately 2 cm free. Distribute the fried onions, sausage slices, and cheddar cheese over the dough. Reserve 24 pieces of sausage and 1/3 of the cheddar for the topping. Roll up the dough from the wide end and cut into 12 equal-thick slices. Place the slices cut-side up in the muffin tins. (Silicone muffin cups work best for this.) Finally, evenly distribute the remaining sausage pieces and cheddar cheese. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Sprinkle some more fried onions on the still-hot muffins.
