Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 4 Vienna sausages or Frankfurter sausages
  • 20 cucumber slices
  • 2 onions, red
  • 4 tbsp fried onions
  • 4 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 4 tbsp tartar sauce
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Heat the sausages in hot water. Lightly toast the hot dog buns in the toaster or oven. Cut the buns in half and top each with remoulade, onion rings, and cucumber slices, then place a sausage on top. Sprinkle with mustard and ketchup, along with fried onions. Fold the buns shut and serve immediately, wrapped in a napkin.
