Ammonia is sold in any pharmacy and is not difficult to buy. The substance itself is a 10% solution of ammonia, which helps in the household as well as chemicals.

Then for about 20 minutes, dip in the grate, a pan or any other object that needs to be cleaned. At the end of this time, rinse the kitchen utensils under running water and wipe thoroughly with a rag, making sure that no alcohol remains on the surface of the product.

The second effect is to disinfect plumbing fixtures and tiles. With the solution described above, you can wipe the intertile space, the toilet bowl, hard-to-reach places in the bathroom, where fungus and mold form from moisture.

Leave it on for 10 minutes, then place an old towel on the stain and place a hot iron on top. Press it down for 20 seconds using the steam function. Check the result – the stain from the couch or carpet should transfer to the towel. Repeat the procedure several times, adding the water-alcohol mixture until the stain is gone.

Ammonia against cockroaches and moths

In order to get rid of insects, you need to understand the degree of neglect of the situation:

The first option: dissolve 1 tsp of ammonia in 1 liter of cold water, the resulting mixture wash all surfaces in the house – doors, windows, baseboards, floors, etc. If the room is large or there are a lot of cockroaches, it is better to use 100 ml of alcohol. This option is suitable for those who have no opportunity to leave the house for the period of the war with the pests.

The second option: do not prepare the solution, pour ammonia directly from the jar into small containers (lids, for example) and put in places where the “whiskers” have been seen. You can also use ammonia in a syringe – spray it in hard-to-reach places in the apartment. This method is better to adopt if you can leave for 2-3 days, so as not to breathe ammonia.
