Why moles appear in the plot and what they are dangerous

There are benefits from moles, too – they are great for loosening the ground, providing an oxygen supply to the plants, and feeding on insects that are harmful to crops.

Prepare repellents
Mix in a bowl 1 to 4 cups castor oil, 6 tablespoons of water, and 2 tablespoons of dish detergent. Whisk the solution with a blender, pour some into a garden watering can, and dilute with water. Water the areas of the lawn where the mole was found with this mixture – this will make him “move away” from your vegetable garden.
Buy a trap
There are many such products in stores – you need a design in the form of a box or tube that will cover the mole, but not harm it. If you manage to catch the mole in this way, do not get it yourself – take it away from residential buildings and release it from the trap.
An alternative option is an ultrasonic repeller, which should simply be inserted into the ground. The device emits low-frequency pulses that repel moles. Before buying, it is better to read reviews carefully – not all such gadgets are equally effective.
Plant flowers and plants
Daffodils, marigolds, mountain ash, or onions – the smell of these plants is unpleasant to moles, so they avoid areas where such crops grow.
Use a compost pit
This method is good as a distraction – the compost pit will harbor earthworms, and the mole will feed only on them, ignoring all other places on the site. The compost won’t help you get rid of the mole at all, but it will at least help you channel the mole’s energy into peaceful uses.
