- To make your own preservative spray, all you need is about 100 milliliters of hydrogen peroxide, 100 milliliters of water, and about 10-20 drops of lemon oil.

- Pour a 1:1 ratio of water and lemon juice into a bucket. Before doing this, make sure the bucket is big enough for your pumpkin to fit in easily.
- Now put the hollowed-out pumpkin into the mixture. Then leave it there for at least an hour so that the ingredients can soak in.
