Peel the pomegranate correctly: the classic variant

A pomegranate is healthy and delicious. If you want to open the fear and enjoy it, there is a very simple way to do it. All you need is a knife and some muscle power.

  1. Cut off the crown-shaped flower at the top of the pomegranate in a circle. Now the white skins inside the pomegranate are visible.
  2. To open the fruit, cut along the white skins of the pomegranate. Only cut them so that you can easily open the fruit.
  3. Bend apart the peel parts of the pomegranate. You can now separate the individual shell parts and loosen the cores. For example, you can make your own juice out of it.

Peel the pomegranate in a water bath

If you want to quickly and easily remove the pomegranate seeds from the inside, then try the water bath variant:
