Ingredients
- 225 g Yellow lentils
- 2 Potatoes
- 1 tsp Ground ginger
- 1 tsp Sea salt
- 1 tsp Ground cumin
- 1 tsp Turmeric
for the pan:
- 1 tsp Curry
- 4 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 1 Clove of garlic
- Ghee or butter for frying
- 1 tsp Honey
Instructions
- Boil the lentils with the spices in 850 ml water for about 5 minutes. Dice the potatoes and add after the 5 minutes and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Heat some ghee in a pan and fry the curry powder with the diced onions, garlic, tomatoes and peppers for about 5 minutes. Then add the lentils and potatoes. Season to taste with honey and salt.
