- 5 m.-sized onion(s)
- 1 tsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 tbsp balsamic cream, dark
- some butter
- salt and pepper

With these balsamic onions you can create the best burgers of your life!
Peel the onions and slice them into rings or strips, depending on your taste. Heat some butter in a pan and brown the onions. Meanwhile, season with salt, pepper, and honey or sugar. Once the onions are ready, simply mix with the balsamic vinegar and serve while still warm with the burgers or top them with it. The onions are especially great for topping homemade burgers, which simply offer a completely different flavor experience – try it; you’ll taste the difference immediately! These fairly simple balsamic onions are also a true delight as a side dish to antipasti.
