How healthy is milk actually?

Milk contains a lot of potassium and thus supports the formation of bones. The “German Society for Nutrition” recommends consuming around 200 grams of milk or milk products per day for young and old.

What’s so dangerous about milk?

Scientists suspect that high consumption of milk in men increases the risk of prostate cancer. To do this, however, you would need to drink at least a full liter of milk every day.

  • If you cannot tolerate milk or milk products and do not want to do without them, you can use lactose-free products. By adding an enzyme, the lactose is broken down and no longer needs to be digested. The ingredients of the milk remain the same.
  • Around two percent of children and one percent of adults in Germany suffer from a milk protein allergy. However, this has to do with the complex further processing and homogenization of the milk. Raw milk cannot harm the body.
  • Conclusion: Milk is by no means harmful and contains numerous important vitamins, proteins, and minerals. Anyone who does not tolerate or does not like milk can of course also ingest it through other foods. However, with around 50 to 65 calories per 100 milliliters, milk is not recommended for every diet.
